Welcome to Knotty by Nature

Knotty by Nature is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. Nestled in the heart of Fernwood, our shop is a welcoming space for fibre artists of all skill levels—whether you weave, felt, spin, macramé, or explore fibre arts in your own unique way.

More than just a store, we are a community hub dedicated to creativity and sustainability. We offer a carefully curated selection of natural fibres, tools, and kits, as well as workshops for beginners and seasoned makers alike. Our loom rentals, drum carding station, and Yarn Library make fibre arts accessible to all, and our annual Fibrations festival brings the local fibre community together in celebration.

🌈 You'll know you've arrived when you see the rainbow steps—because at KBN, everyone is welcome. And once inside, you might just be greeted by Sokka, our shop cat, who takes his role as store supervisor very seriously.
