Lori began knitting and crocheting around the age of 8,
when her Dad taught her to knit a scarf – he had knit the
socks for his siblings when he was a young man.
While living in the interior of BC she took up spinning and
weaving then had a hiatus from knitting for about 12 years
when she became a city girl. She picked up the sticks and
spindle again 9 years ago when she moved to Victoria.

Her teaching background helps to facilitate classes that
build confidence by presenting skills and ideas in a logical
and digestible progression.

She keeps at least one sock project on the needles at all times
along with the other odd project or two, or three... She began
designing in 2008, with scarf, hat and knitted bead patterns
published in Ravelry under VicKnitChik.
