meet the gentle wheel.

Sunday May 27th, 2012

10:30am - 3:30pm

A happy, gentle, novice-friendly introduction to spinning wool on a spinning wheel: a surprisingly easy to learn and fascinating historical
art and craft. Wool enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds adore the spinning wheel for its gentle, meditative nature. Rhythmic motions,
soft fibres, and a relaxed, seated posture make spinning ideal for anyone looking to calm the nerves, unstress the brain, and at the same time make beautiful, affordable handspun yarns for knitting, weaving, crocheting and other fibre arts. You will go home with a ball of your very own handspun pure wool yarn.

We provide everything you'll need for this wonderful experience: a variety of spinning wheels for you to try, natural wool, easy lessons, and good company.

Class size: 6 students maximum
Class fee: $75, materials provided

Registration is through Knotty By Nature Fibre Arts
